BEST PIES IN WOOSTER
HOUSE MADE FOR OVER 60 YEARS
Family owned and operated since 1965
Since 1965, Green Leaf Restaurant has been a place where good food, friendly faces, and small-town tradition come together. What began as a humble drive-in on the edge of town has become a cherished local landmark—serving generations of families and creating memories along the way.
The Green Leaf was founded on August 3, 1965, by Robert Horn, grandfather of current co-owner Jason Stine. Located on Cleveland Road when it truly felt like the outskirts of town, the original Green Leaf was known for its classic car-hop service, where guests could pull in, roll down their windows, and enjoy a great meal made the old-fashioned way.
In 1980, the restaurant was passed down to the second generation, Ron and Betty Stine, who carried on the tradition of hearty American comfort food, warm hospitality, and a place where everyone felt like family. Under their care, Green Leaf became more than just a restaurant—it became a hometown staple.
Today, Green Leaf is proudly owned and operated by Jason Stine and his wife, Samantha. Jason grew up working in the restaurant, learning the ropes, and sharing countless meals with family and friends. In 2011, Jason and Samantha took ownership with a shared commitment to preserving the traditions that make Green Leaf special, while continuing to serve the community they call home.
Known for classic American favorites, homemade pies, and that unmistakable “family feel,” Green Leaf Restaurant is a place where time slows down, stories are shared, and memories are made—just like they’ve been since 1965. We’re honored to keep the grill hot, the coffee pouring, and the tradition alive for generations to come.
